HOW TO SETUP AceKard 2i
HOW TO SETUP AK2i
===================
1) Go to http://www.winzip.com/prod_down.htm
2) Download winzip and save to Desktop
3) Install winzip
4) Go to http://www.themott.com/content/acekard-2i-nintendo-dsi
5) Download ak2i_setup.zip (Last Updated on April 14, 2009) file and save to Desktop
6) Right click on the ak2i_setup.zip and choose "extract to folder"
7) Open acekard2i folder
8) Select all the files ( __ak2, Games, moonshl, Music, OsUp, Pictures, akmenu4.nds, MoonShell.nds, OsUp.nds )
9) drag everything into your memory card (the root of the MicroSD card)
10) Take out the memory card and insert into Acekard 2i card.
11) Done!
Note: Make sure your memory card doesn't fill up 100% space. Leave enough FREE space to load the game.

I've been trying to get new skins for my acekard 2i and I have followed all the steps shown on this site, but when I try to change skin on my dsi it loads and then show no skin and when I press start again to change it back it freezes. What am I doing wrong?

We are unsure of your problem, please check if the skin was placed into the directory correctly. If it is, try deleting the files and replacing it.

Hi, i got an nintendo dsi and i just bought a acekard 2i, i did exactly what the tutorial shows, but it doesnt work. when i turn the acekard on, it shows a black screen with those words on <ÅĖ@Ė´>. I think thta it says loading or something liek that, but it freeze there. Nothing happen.Did someone know what can be wrong?

I have my AceKard 2 for
I have my AceKard 2 for about 4 days, worked fine until today.
I'm having problem when I put my acekard 2 in, I see the clock and calendar etc. they work. But when I look on my touch screen at the top right it says "S1" but its just blinking.... and I can't do nothing else... is there something wrong with my acekard 2?
I extracted and installed
I extracted and installed ak2i_setup.zip and loaded some games into the games folder and they work great. My problem is that I put some .jpg's in the Pictures folder and could not get them to be recognized. Realized that I just had .nds files to be recognized and changed it to "All" assuming that would work. It didn't. I can see that the .jpg's are there, but I can't view the actual images.
Did I do something wrong, or do photos have to be a different format?

I've already set up a skin.
I've already set up a skin. I JUST WANT TO VIEW PICTURES.
After installing the acekard setup file, I notice a Games, Music, and Pictures folder. I can put games in the Games folder and they will play. I can't put music in the Music folder and it will play. But if I put pictures in the Pictures folder, I cannot view them. At first they would not even show up as being on the card, but I changed the settings from "Show .nds only" to "show all files" and now I can see that the jpg's are on the card, I just can't view them.
And to change skins I put the images that I want to use in the UI (user interface) folder. The process does not involve the Pictures folder at all. I'm just confused about the presence of a Pictures folder that appears to be useless.

There is not a particular
There is not a particular format that you need to format it to as ds games aren't too big. When you say that it shows loading, did you download the correct firmware files from the acekard site (www.acekard.com)and put the files onto the microsd? The file on this site may be slightly older than the newest version.

when i try to play a game. it does nothing. all it says is LOADING and its been awhile and nothing happens.
by the way. in regards to the microsd card. is there a particular format that i should format it to? mine is formatted as FAT right now. does that matter?
