Support Action Reply cheats. Build-in editor
Acekard 2i support Action Replay cheats in .dat, .xml and .cc format. You can select how to use AR cheats by using the build-in editor.
- Copy AR cheats in .dat or .xml format to /__ak2/cheats. Copy .cc format file to the same directory of file.
- Press "Y" to popup the editor.
- Select "Cheat DB file".
- Select the cheat file.
- Select "Rebuild".
- If you have the cheat code of the software then a list window will be shown. You can use "X" and "Y" to enable or disnable them.
- Press "A" to save your changes and enter software for fun.
Built in "Trimming" Function
The Acekard 2i has a “Trimming” Function built in. When you copy a file in the Micro SD , the Acekard 2i. will automatically trim any un-necessary data in a file.

You can just copy the folder of skins to "/__ak2/ui/" and enable it from "System Options" at start menu.

AK 2 will start in the folder you last ran software from.
Every file and folder has an icon in front of the name. Softwares will display their icon directly.

You can config the scrolling speed and whether to show the hidden files.
Support soft-reset, Download play and WIFI playing
AK 2 support soft-reset whenever you running a software. You can return to AK 2 menu when you’re running software by just pressing L+R+A+B+Down. You do not need turn off DS to change softwares. You can disable this function in menu.

Connecting to the DSi store
Connecting to the DSi store isn't the problem the trouble is with updating to update 4.1 system (which is necc. for the use of the online store) for the dsi, that blocks the cards from working. Apparently there's already a work-around but I've tried the work-around without much success myself. Bought another DSi with system 3.1 and the Acekard 2i worked until I tried playing an online game at which time I achieved another blocked cart.

Do not allow your dsi to upgrade to the new patch as of July 30 2009. I believe it is ver 1.4! It will brick your card.

I bought one months ago and it worked fine, and I just bought two new ones for my friends and they didn't work....the main screen was fine but when u would load up a game the screen would stay stuck on loading. I looked online I heard of bad batches coming out....any help would be welcomed

The Acekard 2 i is above the competition. It is a wonderful product. Got mine here at themott.com came with USB card reader, had Fast Delivery, wonderful support & warranty! I have three acekard 2i's Two of them I bought from another well known competitor, because they were a bit cheaper (but they had no USB card reader) They were cheap looking, Sticker was on crooked, They freeze up quite a bit, and it took 3 weeks to get here. The one I got Here at the mott's is way better quality, Works great, and has fast shipping. I will not buy another one anywhere but here. Thanks again Kristy

Yes, the acekard should be able to play movies. You will need a file called Moonshell to be able to load up movies/videos. The videos have to be in a .dpg format to play though.

Can you emulate GBA games on the DSi with the Acekard 2i? The official site says they can be run directly from the microSD card slot but I've been hearing rumblings that it isn't possible on the new machine.

Thanks for all the information you've provided, very nice indeed. I'm glad to hear it works on the American NDSI I was considering buying the Acekard 2i after watching the videos but I had one question...
Prior to even knowing about this, the Acekard 2i, I messed around with my DSI for awhile and took advantage of getting the free 1000 nintendo coins + the bonus 160 coins for registering a DSI so I could download a few "free" games from the store...but in doing this it asked me to update and I accepted the update and I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me does this update block the acekard 2i from working?
Would really appreciate any information about this before I make the purchase because I don't want to spend $40 for nothing and someone told me to be careful and not connect to the store and update if you want to be able to use these types of things as nintendo may implement updates to block them.
If it the update I mentioned does in fact block it this s no problem I'll just exchange it for a new one at the store so just be straight up with me, thanks again.
